OUR MISSION

        The mission of “Men in Search of Change” Monthly Inter-Denominational Prayer Breakfast is carried out by encouraging our men to remain  connected to God and to one another in a united prayer forum in order to be stronger Men of God, stronger leaders in our communities and better examples morally, socially and spiritually.

This mission will be carried out further through:

·      Consistent breakfasts where we address the current issues and concerns of our communities.

·      Offering a time of diverse fellowship and networking of different cultures.

·      Coming together to determine direction for issues and concerns that may exist throughout the country.

·      Prayer directed to teaching our men to change their attitudes toward the Word of God, Work, Women and Wealth.

·      Seeking to help men in Recovery Homes to find a new start in life as well as visiting those in prisons that on their release will have new companions to help keep them focused on their new goals in order to avoid continual returns to prison.

·      Offering the opportunity to display and advertise their skills at our Prayer Breakfast Sessions.

·      Interaction with other strong men in order to learn from Pastors, Counselors, professional men in the field of legal, medical, corporate, educational, administrative, political, etc.

·      Building strong and lasting friendships which lead to better husbands, fathers, companions, workers, and leaders in our communities.

OUR VISION

      The vision of “Men In Search of Change” Monthly Inter-Denominational Prayer Breakfast is to establish a prayer forum and a community faith based organization uniting men of all faiths, races, denominations and social backgrounds under the banner of Jesus Christ as Lord.

      This vision seeks to teach men to change their attitudes towards the Word of God, Work, Women and Wealth, so as to be more responsible in their homes, churches, work places and their communities.

      This empowerment will build strong prayer lives, establish prayer partners, build stronger homes, make stronger leaders, discover and develop their talents, skills, careers and gifting so as to be guided towards their purpose and destiny in life.

      We seek to bring revival to the city of Las Vegas, and surrounding areas through a united effort of all churches breaking down barriers of division and unite our men  to consistently make changes in our communities and become responsible men joining hearts and hands from every church proving they are new creatures in Jesus Christ.

      The vision reaches out to our communities comprised of men not affiliated with any church or denomination or organization to bring about change coming together in harmony with every entity that shares our concerns.

      We believe that our united prayers to God will bring effective change to move us to meet the community challenges to men everywhere  spiritually as it concerns personal, private, and family issues.

ARE MEN IN CRISIS?

 
There can be no doubt that men are in crisis. Many are drafted to the military and end their lives on the battlefield. Some men who are left behind,

find themselves in gangs, abusing and trafficking drugs.
 
Some are addicted to nicotine, alcohol and all kinds of sexual perversions. Unfortunately, others are incarcerated in our prisons and live a life of hopelessness with a lack of direction and irresponsible violent behavior in need of anger management.
 
As a result, many of our homes are suffering from the lack of fathers and husbands to be good role models to our children.
 
MISOC seeks to unite men of all faiths and races in order to promote activities that would impact on our communities and bring permanent change.
 
We meet the last Saturday in every month in different churches and restaurants. Various topics of practical interests are discussed.
 
It is our intentions to expand this Ministry to other cities and states to help men unite in prayer and reach other men.
